Aurangabad - Innocent and Blissful Souls!

I am walking down the streets of the village in Aurangabad district. Looking at these beautiful and innocent smiles reminded me of my childhood days. The excitement on these little bundles of joy getting ready for the school and joyfully marching towards the school gate is always a cherishing moment. Hair neatly combed, talcum powder on the face, all the books in the bag, putting the water bottle around the neck, wearing the footwear and finally taking the bag on the shoulder and running outside the house, on the road and off to the school. Not to forget the mother shouting from behind, "Chaangla abhyaas kar!" ("Study well!")

You and I have gone through this phase in our childhood. But I do not remember not having a neat pair of shirt and pant or a good pair of shoes or a colourful school bag to carry with me every day. Then why I saw some of these lovely children not having a neat and clean pair of shoes or clothing or a bag? Have they done something wrong to be deprived of their minimum basic needs? Some of them not even having these basic needs but still thrilled to get to their destination. .

Let's make an oat to do our bit for them. Contribute something from our side to retain that pure and happy smile on their face. I feel bad to have hundreds of clothes when they hardly have two or three. .
